The Whisper Room Guys is a family-owned and operated business that provides installation and design consultation services for Whisper Room sound isolation booths.

Nicholas M. Spann, the company’s CEO and owner, has over 20 years of experience in the construction trade as well as 10+ years of experience as a DJ / producer. Nicholas was born in Chicago and raised in beautiful southern California where he enjoys participating in sports, hunting, and fishing as well as woodworking. As a child, Nicholas accompanied his father to construction sites and soon picked up a hammer and began learning the trades. After spending a few summers helping out his father, Nicholas realized that he loved working in the construction industry.

Over the years, Nicholas has acquired his general contractor’s license (for A-List Construction & Management Inc.) and has provided services to many businesses with regard to residential and commercial construction.

One of the companies he worked with was lynda.com, an online learning platform. Nicholas was exposed to the Whisper Rooms product and has helped design and build over 75 Whisper Rooms for lynda.com’s authors and producers.

Nicholas has been building Whisper Rooms since 2011 and has built over 500 Whisper Rooms to date. The Whisper Room Guys was established in 2020 and has worked with clients such as USC, Spotify, Pioneer Valley High School, Eric Bauza, Julie Glick and several others.
