When Nicholas joined the team lynda.com was expanding at an enormous rate and in process of designing their main headquarters in beautify Carpinteria, CA and moving from their current location in Ventura. One of the facilities team’s main tasks was providing a quiet recording atmosphere where the Authors and Producers could interact freely in a comfortable controlled recording environment.  The facilities team researched and tested a few different self-contained recording options and decided on Whisper Room Inc. and installed (4) small booths at their Ventura location.

With Nicholas’s construction background he was tasked with planning, designing and installing (25) new 8.5’x 8.5’ Enhanced double walled Whisper Rooms and coming up with a way to hardline or hardwire in HVAC, electrical and data in a trial by fire.  Let’s just say he was a bit overwhelmed when the first delivery trucks arrived. 

After the first 25 Whisper Rooms were a success, lynda.com went on to add over 40 plus booths at the Carpinteria campus location, (5) Whisper Rooms in Boulder, CO and many more at pop up locations all over the US and in Japan.

Production department was very happy.
